Our Story
A world with deep roots and wings in the sky.
Zarok Hub is a shared space to live and grow, rooted in Belgium and speaking to the whole world, where thousands of years of Kurdish culture come alive again through the joy and creativity of today's children.
In the Flow, Together
We are not here to keep an ancient heritage waiting in the past, but to carry it into today and tomorrow with the joy of children. Zarok Hub is not a static structure with fixed borders; it is a river that keeps on flowing, growing with the effort of everyone who joins it and drawing its strength from the idea that ‘together, we can’. In this lively flow, we are turning our mother tongue into an adventure in which our children can freely build their own worlds.
Not a Hierarchy, but a Partnership
We free communication from the control of any single centre and draw our strength from the great solidarity of meeting in the same circle:
- The Echo of Zarok TV: Through our strong partnership with Zarok TV, we are building a vast, safe space of belonging where every child can reach across borders in their own mother tongue and say, "I am here!"
- Creating and Living Together: We don't just talk about culture; we bring it to life together. In our own mother tongue, we create drama for the theatre stage, along with folk tales, stories and songs that travel from voice to voice. Through festivals, concerts, creative workshops, food gatherings, dances and games, we turn this heritage into a living, breathing way of life.
- The Butterfly Effect: We believe that a tune we hum together, a whispered tale or a single joyful step can grow over time into a great cultural wave that changes the world.
Now It's Your Time
If you look at the world with a child's curiosity, and if you have a voice to add to this great partnership, effort to share or a dream to nurture, there is a place for you at Zarok Hub too. Let's build the future of Kurdish culture not just by talking about it, but by creating, playing and living it side by side, right in the middle of everyday life.
The coffee is fresh and our door is open. Come, let's make this flow grow together.
